Decorating For Christmas
So does anyone else have the urge to decorate for Christmas yet? I get such a joy and love from turning my house into a beautiful holiday site. I don't do a ton but I just love the smells and the lights. For some reason I can just sit in a room and take it in and smile. So I want to know why if something so little as decorating makes me so happy why I can't do it yet. Just because thanksgiving isn't here yet...I just want to enjoy all the hard work of putting it up. What do you guys think?

I say go for it!!! It's DEFINITELY close enough to Thanksgiving to decorate for Christmas! I already changed my blog music to Christmas music! :-)
That is too funny! My hubby and I were having a discussion on Saturday about starting to get the decorations out. His argument is that it isn't Thanksgiving yet. I gave in and decided to wait until next weekend as long as he doesnt do only part of it and it takes him three weekends to complete it. LOL. I say go for it! I started burning my holiday candles already though.
We went to a friend's house tonight, and they just put up lights today...then on the way home, we saw two houses decorated. All I could say was..."AWWWWW, look boys, CHRISTMAS LIGHTS! I'm thinking we aren't the only ones wanting to jump the gun...
In the past I have complained about Christmas stuff being put up before Thanksgiving, but that's definitely not the case this year!!
So today...after Peyton's nap. Her and I are going to start putting up a couple things here and there while Nate does some work in our office. She liked the idea of putting out baby Jesus and putting up twinkle lights in her room. I will have to post some pictures of that a little later. Oh..I am just too excited.
Stacey...you know I start Christmas music as soon as school begins. I need to have the JOY of the SEASON to be with me for more than just 25 days! When people make negative comments about my eagerness, I ALWAYS respond with I am NOT pushing Thanksgiving out of the way, just making Christmas Last Longer. Decorating for Christmas takes SO long...I am going to enjoy all the hard work as LONG as I can!
